Las Vegas police officers stand Thursday near a wrecked car near the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. Four people were killed and eight were hurt after the car hit an RTC bus stop. The driver, Gary Lee Hosey Jr., 24, was among the injured and is suspected of being drunk, police Sgt. Richard Strader said. Roads were closed in the area as emergency responders attended to the victims and police continued their investigation of the accident.

This article is a tempo analysis of the song “Troll Toll” as performed in a musical written by Charlie Day for the situation comedy on FX TV called It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. It was later performed for 9 nights in Philadelphia, my father in law’s home town: by popular demand.

In the scene during the song, Danny DeVito as The Troll is playing a pimp for “the boy,” played by Glenn Howerton III through the [rape] by the Night Man, played by Rob McElhenney. It is completely satirical – or else the subject matter would be taboo. Especially as the family is mixing business with sex – the ULTIMATE taboo.

The Raspberries had a hit with a song written by a man later know for adopting Rachmaninoff to popular music with “All By Myself,” a song popular when Eric had split from the band to seek his own musical fortune.

I chose the song for analysis of speed as this used to run around a lot as a tape loop when I was a child in nursery school in Chicago, being scared on days when the wind was fierce and the ice was rink quality slick. As a “so what” confession I’d get this song in my head if I was losing ground to ice and wind (I was tiny). It gave me confidence.

But in the end: by the time I found out was “going all the way” was I was long past the age of asking my parents. I was way too mortified to ask my parent in nursery school.
