The lyrics from the song and the melody, the rhythm of Handbag and Glad rags by Big George Webey, made famous again in the 21st century as the theme song for the BBC series THE OFFICE. It is 78.6 beats per minute, and there is something about it that screams of the bittersweet feelings brought out by the 5 day Eric Braeden tribute.

In this second part to the Thomas proposes in front of everyone to show how much he adores, loves and wants to marry Zoe.

You might think that Zoe would know that Thomas is a seriously manipulative, completely selfish man, ,who cannot said to be sadistic toward his son, Hope or even Zoe as much as he is delusional for thinking, “What is best for Thomas Forrester is best for the lives of everyone affected, which included, Douglas, Zoe, Liam and Steffy.

The February 20, 2020 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful®️ features Thomas Forrester showing that Zoe is the figurative ‘sunshine of his life by making a full out family dinner with her.

The question is: is he doing it all to make his son, Douglas, angry, thereby luring Hope back into his orbit through the frightened cries of his own child

Douglas has already lost his mother to cancer and he is less than six-years-old.

For tonight though, Zoe is the key to Thomas’ happiness, at least according to Thomas.

This episode of The Bold and the Beautiful featured a master class in acting by Matthew Atkinson as Thomas Forrester.

Thomas is a very troubled man. So troubled in fact, he uses both Zoe, played by Kiara Barnes, and his son Douglas and uses them, fathers them, proposes to marry them – either because Thomas does not know what he wants, or Thomas simply wants to be with Hope and will break anyone’s heart to do it.

What does a party celebrating 50 years of Newman Enterprises have to do with the song “Holding Back The Years”

In a simple existential way, the daytime serial is much like the song. Simply Red is just going to “keep holding on,” just as watcher of daytime drama watch for 47 years holding on for the end — the end of a new beginning. We want the story plot lines to be good and crisp and quick, but we don’t want the show to end. And would they announce it if on the day that the characters of Genoa City had wrapped up every issue and their story after 47 year was over, how sad would we be?

We’d be as sad as Simply Red on the train in that video.

The episode s47e113 featured the speed with which Lola was able to move on with her life despite the disappointing relationship and marriage to Kyle.

Phyllis as played by Michelle Stafford was especially good as she kinda stole the episode with her rhythm in her encounters wither Abby and Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV. It is difficult to be sarcastic and not be nasty, but Michelle is left handed – she does it well!
