After under a year of marriage, Kyle and Lola have seemed to have given up.

Why? Kyle has admitted to Lola that he still loves his ex-wife from last year, Summer.  Such betrayal was a nonstarter for the fiercely independent and courageous Lola.

Some fine lines about entitlement, using people, and being selfish are leveled by Detective Rey Rosales at Kyle for his behavior – harsh works, spoken with an edge of concerned sympathy.

An excellent episode!

#YR family-company-business summary, 8/19/19

The thing about working in a family owned business that is most awkward is running into the old love.

The reason Kyke has been a successful character in the Young and the Restless is because of things he does at his own wedding: taking genuine time to express empathy to his cousin who turned out not to be his cousin ex-wife Summer Newman. Despite this being Kyle’s day of joy in holy matrimony with Lola Rodriguez Abbott, Kyle is concerned, especially “after all they went through” how Summer is taking the heartache.
