The thing about working in a family owned business that is most awkward is running into the old love.

The reason Kyle has been a successful character in the Young and the Restless is because of things he does at his own wedding: taking genuine time to express empathy to his cousin who turned out not to be his cousin ex-wife Summer Newman. Despite this being Kyle’s day of joy in holy matrimony with Lola Rodriguez Abbott, Kyle is concerned, especially “after all they went through” how Summer is taking the heartache.

The episode of the Young and the Restless on Tuesday, 10.3018 featured Gina Tognoni as Phyllis Summers showing off a return to her classic coif and rallying Jabot with business chops that were strong, persuasive and graceful.

Peter Bergman as Jack Abbott, Jr delivered the line of the show, one that too many seem to be worried about in real life

“These are the days that will define us”

Gina Tognoni’s quote within a long pitch offering her services as Chief Executive Officer of Jabot®️. Has Phyllis ever been a major CEO? As ex-husband Jack points out: No. However, with Ashley leaving such chaos at the company, Traci suggested that even though Phyllis had never held such a position, maybe it was time for a shake up.

Phyllis’s enthusiastic call to work –

“Put aside your fears and doubts and stop settling for the status quo!”

The episode of the Young and the Restless that aired on May 11, 2018 broke down in family / company / business relationships in complicated ways that I tried to show on the image below.

The issue dominating the episode was: mistakes in early parenting, such as sleeping around and not knowing who a child’s father is, might get very messy when you have Alzheimer’s, maybe even want to cone clean with the truth- as the upstanding Madame Dina Mergeron wants to do, yet after decades might not remember even if mentally stable.

The song refers to the title of the episode I gave the show based on a character who floats this issue. The character sounds the 100% role reversal of the lover in Diana Ross’ LOVE CHILD, where a child is cared for only from love versus biologically designed planning.

Thus we can guess there is going to be activity at the G.C.M.H. lab next week.

The best songs hit me in the gut, viscerally.

I’ll usually like a song or not based on

1) liking the initial bodily pull from the harmonic rhythm;

2) liking the melodic sounds

3) liking the harmonic choices

4) liking the sonority.

Speed is something that rules music, Burt I have never changed a song in my of purchases based on tempo. All music I measure is purchased. I *have* thousands of purchases based obj whether I like the way that tempo is being used. I own every Pat Metheny Group, Genesis and Dave Matthews Band song. In the end, Carter Beaford of the Dave Matthews Band has been there most underrated musician alive since 1992!
